Hate Mail Requirements…

August 20, 2006

I’ve been back in Colorado for about a week and a half now and it sure is nice to sleep in my own bed. I was getting a bit worried because I havn’t had anything to write about. Thanks to some guy named Papafish, now I do.

I opened my email today and found two messages from this mystical creature. Unfortunately Papafish was too cowardly to post his feelings on the website for everyone to read. As I feel he has done this in error, I will repost the emails here and save him the trouble.

Requirements for sending hate mail to me:

  1. Do not email me your hate mail. Please have enough courage to post it on the website. This will allow others an oportunity agree/disagree with your argument.
  2. Please spend more than two seconds stringing a few cute phrases together.
  3. Please don’t call me a jew.  First, I have no Jewish heritage at all.  Secondly, I prefer to be known as an AMERICAN.
  4. Please consult atleast a sixth grader and ask him/her for help with capitalization/punctuation and other various grammer related questions.
  5. And lastly, please phrase your hate in the form of a logical argument.  I believe I lost a few brain cells reading those last two emails.

I am so sorry that you and other members of our military get emails like that. It certainly is not deserved and it is not how most Americans feel. We support our troops!

 Rather unfortunate sometimes that stupidity is legal isn’t it?

  3. JoeTex on August 22nd, 2006 11:45 am

I also noticed he either is a foreigner or not well educated from the sentence structure and lack of punctuation or capitalization. Or maybe he is in just too much of a hurry to bother, since he probably has so much hate to mail out.

Pay it no mind. You get a few nutcases when you speak out in public.

    Carry on.

Sweet!!! Don’t you just love it when you get love letters……lol. I need to be sure to send him a thank email for getting you to write again….. :) Glad you’re home and sleeping in your own bed once again.

All I can say here is that you Americans especially young soldiers are putting bets and your lives on wrong games being directed (not controlled) by few guys lacking decisive ruthlessness and true command in order to deliver effective military and political solutions. Now don’t get me wrong, although foreign born, I admire your country and your pro-active people perhaps more than anyone else in the world. While visting US I realized it’s US where I can have a home away from home.

Our nth great grandfather Genghis Khan’s ruthless tactics and strategies such as obliterating whole populated cities that resisted his global order of imperial expansion are exactly what is needed at this moment for USA and for creating a New World Order.
That’s what made him Great Khan, The Emperor of All Men.
And in future if any Global Emperor emerges with a great transcendental vision to establish a single planetary/interplanetary world order, he would require to possess the same qualities in the post-modern context plus much more.

    Only then we will hope to see a true world without boundaries;
where Universal SupraCosmic Godhead is worshipped above all false sectarian gods existing in the filthy communal mind of the past as a divisive ideal.

Only then he would be capable of raising higher consciousness by cutting down the massive ignorance prevailing in the world today.
And creating a Peaceful but Dynamically Evolving Heaven on this Earth itself.

No democratic or autocratic government of today can imagine to have such visions even in their wildest dreams!

It’s the same thing all over again. When I was an E-1 (yes they had those) in 1972 I was coming through Ohare Airport in Chicago expecting to be bothered by Hari Krishnas. Instead I was surrounded by people shouting obscenities and calling me a baby killer and murderer. Then one of these bastards spit on my uniform and the rest of them cheered. I had only been in the Army for 2 1/2 weeks and on my way home on a forced 2 week leave, but to them I represented the warpig. After I left AIT in San Antonio I came home again and as sure as hell when I got to Ohare I got spit on again. It wasn’t the same people yelling the obscenities, but they all had the same things to say. I kept my cool both times and walked proudly on, but I swore I would never let anything like that happen again without somebody getting an ass whoopin. I never got spit at again and I think that may have been someone else’s good fortune.

I spent my last duty at Ft. Carson and never left town. I don’t know if you drink beer, and I don’t drink much, but I would be proud to buy you one and tell you about some people who changed my whole way of thinking when they bought me and another soldier dinner and the works as we were on our way out of the country just to say thanks to a couple of soldiers. email me back and we’ll go do that. Let me pass on the good will those people showed me.

Grrrr…. so sorry you got email like that — never fails to infuriate me.

Our family here in GA appreciates you very much, and are proud of you. Hang in there - we stand behind you 100%.

Dude! How have you been and what are you up to? Sorry I haven’t been around much. I hate these kinds of emails. I get them too. It only takes me a second to hit the delete button unless they’ve got some sort of legitimate complaint. Hope you’re doing well. You gonna head this way for next years milblog conference?

Haha! I love hatemail the most. I even have a feedback category, because I love it so much. When I’m bored, I like to re-read it. Makes me feel special.

Thank yous from Pittsburgh PA. (GO STEELERS). I don’t have any millitary people in my family so I don’t know any of your ling but just want to say that (from one ordinary American 39 yr old) THANK YOU. I don’t know any troops but I send boxes & letters through http://www.anysoldier.com and besides my family I am so proud of the us troops. I feel like I can’t trust the media, I can’t trust some of the citizens & I can’t always trust the government but I know that there are troops out there who will fight for me & my family & my country. I am so deeply appreaciative of that. I wish that all the soldiers could come home but I also realize that so many radical muslams want nothing more than to see me dead. I will continue to send boxes & letters & prayers & thoughts.
How can one say thank you in an adiquite (sp?) way??????

    To your BloggyVerse:

Wow, that dude seems to have a bit of APD (antisocial personality disorder). Maybe some nice soldier should take a key to his car or his fishbowl, whichever applies.

papafish, huh? Do you ’spose he is related to the pufferfish? They are named for their ability to inflate themselves to several times their normal size by swallowing water or air when threatened.

Maybe papafish swallowed too much seawater and it caused MORE drain bamage, er… brain damage.

Let’s get back to papafish’s cousin, the pufferfish (or blowfish) the pear-shaped pufferfish is a slow swimmer, and mainly uses its small pectoral fins for propulsion, which does not allow it to escape predators very well. In case of danger, they inflate themselves by filling their extremely elastic stomach with water (or air when outside the water) until they are almost spherical. Anyone for aquatic basketball?

Just so you know, I am a patriot and like most would use that key to help you out, dude. Anytime, just say the word…

Or a little sugar in a gastank or a fishtank would do the job…

While I have a strong opinion on how badly this administration has handled pretty much everything since Afghanistan I think I speak for at least a significant number/ a majority of peacenicks when I say that I/ we hold all of you in the highest regard and I am continually amazed and as a vet proud at the remarkable job all of you have done in an extremely voliatile enviroment. Ignore the morons they are just angry little men who lack the character to do what you do. Gods Speed

    Dear Anthony,

I wonder if this guy is thinking about the fact that the reason he is even able to make that STUPID statement is because of the sacrifices of the soldiers who have upheld our right to free speech!

I am the Branch Director for a non-profit organization called Give2TheTroops. If you don’t know about us, you should because we send care packages to war-deployed troops. If you have to go back (which I pray you don’t!) or you know anyone that is going to be deployed, please make sure that they have our website so we can show them our support! GOD BLESS!

I am embarrassed to say that knucklehead is a fellow Canadian. No matter what people like that say, not all Canadians hold that view.

Thanks for doing a touch job, that no one appreciates, until the s#it hits the fan.

    Cheers!

You know it really frosts my A$$ when people treat our military members with such disrespect. So sorry that you had to be exposed to idiots like that Anthony.

Got something to say?
